Why can't I find certain words with the full text search?
Some words will not be found in the mail body and in the attachments when you do full text searches. The reason is that MAP uses the Index Server to search in mail body and attachments, and the Index Server doesn’t index certain words. The list of “ignored” words can be found in your Windows folder under system32/noise.xxx, where xxx is the code for your system language, like eng for English, and deu for German. If you want to edit that ignore list, simply open the file with a text editor like Notepad and edit it.

We've deleted all the words in our noise.xxx and saved the (empty) file. Then we deleted the catalog and create a new one - which then had a size of 49 MB instead of the 46 MB that it had prior to deleting the noise.xxx words. 3 MB more is not too bad.
